Sitting at one of the tables in the lobby, Namahri watched the people pass by. It was one of her more unusual hobbies, but it was just as entertaining, if not more. People, specifically humans, were an interesting bunch. The human nature was like a snowflake. While the basic needs and formula was the same, each design was different; similarly, each person needed and was made from the same thing, but what defined them and their personality was unique to their person. That in itself was interesting and entertaining enough. In all honesty, the vampiress could simply watch and pick apart people all day long, though some drama didn't hurt in the slightest. Namahri occasionally got some rather questioning and judgmental glares, but it didn't phase her. She tallied it up to others being paranoid of their surroundings; she was right about ninety-eight percent of the time.
The movie house was quite busy tonight. Many with dates or friends for a night out on the town. They came into the building in groups, cliques, buying their tickets and purchasing their confections from the food counter. Many walked away simply with popcorn and sodas; others had acquired a bit of a sweettooth and purchased candy, as well. Ahri simply sat at the table, chin resting placidly on her palm, as she watched all the little people trail in. Her own movie ticket sat under her purse, the corner sticking out just a bit so she remember to grab it before getting up. There had been numerous times when the lady had forgotten to pick up her ticket from where she had set it. Needless to say, by the time she remembered, someone had taken it and was enjoying the movie she had paid to see; yet, she would get another one.
A quick glance at the Android in front of her. The flat screen quickly glowed to life, giving her the information she desired. It was 9:19. Her movie didn't start for another eleven minutes, then she had to figure in the time it took for the mind-numbing previews and commericals to roll through. So, roughly another twenty-five minutes. Plenty of time to continue her favorite hobby while she contemplated getting herself a popcorn and pop. Maybe if she got a small, she would eat all of it and wouldn't feel like she was wasting money. It was so much easier eating popcorn with a friend or lover.
Lover ... That word reminded the young woman of the man she had only recently had dinner with. Vaughn Logan. A man she had met about a week ago at the Grid Iron. What began as a lonely night at the bar ended in a wonderful dinner date at Outback,, which eventually ended in a transforming lycan falling out of a nearby building's window. She still vividly recalled seeing the way he had just quickly decapitated the mutation, the pup as it may be. However, that fear she harbored for what would become of her should she ever lose control over her new nature did not overshadow the affection she had developed for him. Sure. She only met him once and knew so little about him, but the vampiress felt like she wanted to be with him, or at least around him, more. It was like the movies, where the heroine would fall in love with the hero in a matter of seconds, just from a simple glance.
Oh, cut it out. Namahri shook the thought from her head, looking again at her phone. 9:21. Really? Only three minutes? Annoyed, the woman unlocked her phone and scrolled through a page or two of mobile games before making her selection. This would have to keep her busy until the movie beckoned her inside to its plush chairs and darkened atmosphere. And as much as Namahri wished she could have at least given the man her number, she knew she missed that opportunity. After all, what were the chances of them meeting again?
Pretty slim.

A block away in a parked black van sat Vaughn putting on his reconassiance gear. After he put on the multi-layered suit, he stood and looked to see both Hobbs and the Lt. staring up at him. It was the first field test, and while Hobbs was proud of her recent work, Vaughn couldn't help but feel she was nervous.
Vaughn slipped his mask over his head and then slid on his headgear. "How do I look?" he said mockingly. Hobbs rolled her eyes, and the Lt. gave Vaughn a friendly punch to the stomach before leaving the van and looking around for any civilians. The van was parked in a remote place with not much activity after dark. But still, Vaughn wanted this operation kept under wraps.
"Are David and the other snipers in location just in case our target decides to flee the theater?" Vaughn watched as Hobbs quickly turned to her computer panel and gave him a thumbs up.
Vaughn heard the Lt. bang on the side of the van, and knew it was safe to come out. He strapped on his silenced FAMAS G2, and shoved his silenced Desert Eagle into a gun holster on his waist. Cracking his neck, Vauhn opened up the doors and fled into a dark alley behind the movie theater.
"Okay this should be a piece of cake" Hobbs said--
Vaughn before he could even realized it had trailed off into thought. Cake. He remembered the evening he had spent the other night with Namahri, and the deliciousness they had ordered from pretending to be married. He also remembered how she left him without even so much as leaving him her number. He also remembered slowly stumbling back into the Outback after the Hunters had claimed the unconscious Lycan, and having to pay for the meal. Their waitress even made a comment about him and Namahri going through a divorce.
--"Got it?" Hobbs said a bit loudly and annoyed
"Yeah, gotcha. No making love in the van while I'm away" Vaughn said with a chuckle as he jumped over a fence and scalled the side of a building. He heard nothing but some static and knew Hobbs had turned off communications with him. Letting out a mild laugh, Vaughn reached the top of the building. Lowering himself into a crouch, he snuck around the roof until reaching the other side.
Vaughn walked back a few feet and rose upwards, running towards the edge and leaping onto the movie-theater. Vaughn looked around until reaching a ventilation system. The building was old, very old. The Hunters had in their possession the blueprints for practically every building in the city, and this building especially had some major security weaknesses. Tonight, Vaughn was going to exploit them all.

Time seemed to move rather slow as she continued to play her mobile game. The muffled sound of rather irrate avian creatures matched the suicide-bombing environment the game created. Someone somewhere was losing their mind and ranting about it was entertainment such as this that would encourage more violence in children, then thrown in something about terrorists and 9/11 ... Yeah. People were crazy and overly paranoid in this day in age. However, she couldn't necessarily blame people for their reactions. After all, their nation had been attacked and practically spat on by enemies of old while lives were lost.
Namahri only stopped playing her game when the rather old looking grandfather clock in the lobby began to chime and toll its bells. 9:30. She took it as a sign to get herself to her proper theater. This, of course, would only be after she made a quick stop at the concession stand. The vampire almost found it impossible to watch a movie without the savory salted taste of crunchy goodness with a cold soda to wash it down. It just completed the atmosphere in her opinion. Getting up, the girl grabbed her Louis Vuitton handlebag and slinged it over her elbow. She slid the ticket off the table, placing it on top of her phone's front screen in her palm.
About ten minutes after fighting a crowd to get herself a snack and drink,, and then dealing with the usher who asked rather rudely for her ticket, the vampiress finally made it to her show. It was a rather full showing for being almost ten at night. She took a seat in the third row, near the left wing exit. Nami allowed herself to get comfortable, placing her drink in the cup-holder and setting her things on the floor while she slipped her jacket off; it was then set in the chair next to her since it had no temporary claim on it.
It was as the woman began to immerse herself in the storyline, she couldn't help but think of the Hunter Commander that she had accompanied to dinner only a week ago, a man she thought she could very well be in love with.

A hot wave of heat shot from the vents into Vaughns face. His mask blocked most of it, but he could still feel a warm sensation come about his uncovered eye. Crawling slowly, Vaughn activated infrared on his googles and looked around. He turned it off, realizing it would be hard to detect much heat from the aluminum vents. The heat must be getting to me, Vaughn thought.
The vent ended in a dark broom closet. Vaughn slipped out of the vent quietly and turned on infrared. There was a man standing on the other side of the door--The usher most likely. When he saw no other heat signatures around, he opened the door quietly and pulled the usher inside the closet, knocking him out and hiding the body in the corner.
Vaughn crept up the stairs towards a private booth. As he neared a corner, a Vampire bodyguard walked around a corner. Taking out his knife, Vaughn quickly stabbed him in the heart and tossed him to the side, pulling out his gun and implanting a UV bullet in the head. He pulled out the knife and wiped the blood on the Vampires jacket before continuing down the hallway.
He reached the door and opened it quietly. There was a puff of smoke that rose, and he knew his target was mere inches in front of him. He sat and watched the big screen--It was almost too easy. Vaughn waited, and glanced over at the screen. A preview played for a new 007 movie. Vaughn rose his FAMAS, and pointed it at the mans head. He waited, and when the big screen played a gun fight, Vaughn shot, blending in his noise with that of the preview.
He then grabbed the man and pulled him to the side, letting him bleed out and die in the dark.Standing in the darkness, Vaughn activated his headset, "Hobbs, I'm done here. Deploy my bike, I'll catch up with you and the Lt. at the compound."
Before he turned he looked out into the crowd of seats and saw Namahri, the woman he pretended to be his wife in order to score a free cake--Although their fake date ended quickly. Looking at the dead body, Vaughn got an idea--
After a few moments Vaughn walked down the hallway in a Italian Suit he had just "borrowed" from his victim. Shoving his mask and goggles in the vents, Vaughn looked himself over to make sure his under-clothing wasn't showing. Luckily it wasn't too noticeable.
Slipping into the theater, Vaughn walked down the rows until he saw Namahri's face. Casually he sat down besides her and leaned close to her face, whispering, "I wish they would just play the damn movie already."
