I'm just suddenly wondering. The plot mentions that this forum takes place in New York City, but all of the actual forum locations are fictional. Being a native of New York and having grown up within eye-shot of the real New York City, I'm wondering how much like the real big apple is this forum city?
I mean, I understand that many of the locations and places of interest have been renamed, but are there still five boroughs like there are in the real city? Are there bridge and tunnel equivalents to the George Washington Bridge and the Lincoln Tunnel and all of those ways to reach the islands?
Also, is Hoboken New Jersey still across the river from fictional NYC? Or is this version of NYC in a different part of the United States or something?
90% of these are completely out of curiosity. I happen to be a huge super massive fan of New York, I think it's a wonderful place and I love to roleplay about it, relive some of my better trips. But since this is an Alternate Universe kind of version of the city, I'm wondering just how alternate it is, exactly. |

We're not adding all the locations you mentioned mainly because we don't want to clutter the board. Honestly, you can play it as you like. And it is an alternate universe, but the whole point of saying it is New York is to give the rpers something to reference, so it would be a fair bit like the actual New York City.
