~After removing Stark's belongings from his room at the compound and erasing him from her life, Hobbs etches his name onto the memorial plaque of the fallen in the foyer and goes to rest in the hub. There she meets a new face.~

~Hobbs wakes from a nightmare up at two in the morning. Deciding that going back to sleep is a futile endeavour, Hobbs wheels herself down to the gym where the new Commander is sitting alone in a corner in the dark. After scaring the shit out of Hobbs, they discuss the base security and he asks her to upgrade his crossbow.~

Danticus Stark, Rural Farm Holds
~Hobbs is interrupted one evening by a call telling her to back up the Lieutenant in a hunting mission. Hobbs takes a motorcycle out to the farmlands, and ends up jumping in at the last second to save Stark's life. They retire to Finley's.~

~Newly appointed the Commander, Logan summons the hunters to a meeting, declaring that hunters will only kill the openly dangerous. Cassidy agrees with Logan, but Hobbs and Moore argue the dangerousness of immortals, and Cortes agrees.~

~Logan's crossbow finished, Hobbs stomps down to his office to return it, gives him the blueprints to the new security measures, and shows him her new ammo technology. They discuss matters of loyalty, records, and the recent Hunter meeting.~

Danticus Stark, Finley's Tavern
~After a brief attack on a few transformed werewolves under the full moon, Hobbs calls it a night and she and Stark kick back at Finley's. They discuss histories and Stark gets emotional and walks out, prompting Hobbs to follow him to a cliff top on the other side of town. There, she tells him the truth about her past over beers on the bonnet of Stark's car.~

~Stark follows a Vampire target to an abandoned hotel and texts Hobbs to back him up. She initially covers him with sniper fire from the opposite roof, then has to enter the fray herself when Stark is nearly thrown from a window. Inside, they find feral Humans doped up on Vampire blood, too many dead bodies to count, and meth labs. Worse for wear, they finally blow up the building and find a motel for the night where Hobbs tends to their injuries.~

~Hobbs runs into Stark after a leg check-up at the hospital. Stark had just visited his mother who no longer remembers him. They both meet David Cortes, who had been in for jabs, and they seek further entertainment at the pub over the road.~

~Hobbs and Cortes have a sniping contest. The prize is a six month bar tab paid from the loser's pocket. Hobbs wins the bet, and the three of them later go out drinking.~

~Logan seeks out Hobbs to commission a suit of hi-tech armour for the Hunters.~

~Stark turns up in the Compound after three months of absence. Furious, Hobbs orders him to leave her lab, but instead Stark confesses his feelings and kisses her. Hobbs initially returns the kiss, but then pushes him away and punches him in the face.~

~Stark enlists Hobbs to troll Logan as he gives one of his college lectures. Hobbs doctors Logan's presentation, and Cortes turns up in the lecture as a genuine student of Logan's.~

~Hobbs comes across Stark in the sewers, who claims that he was trapped down there by Lycans. When the tunnels collapse and Stark gets pinned under rubble, Hobbs finally believes him and digs him out.~

~Hobbs has a video chat with her family back in England shortly before Christmas. She goes into the hub to find that Stark has dressed a Christmas tree and is celebrating the festive spirit.~

RELATIONSHIPS

	Jillian Moore Hunter	Queen of numbers, bite like a viper. Because Moore didn't treat her like a novelty upon first meeting her, Hobbs was on good terms with her from the outset. Since then, Hobbs has come to respect Moore more because of her balls of steel and loyalty to her views despite being ordered to act otherwise. Moore now helps Hobbs test her gadgets and they hunt together from time to time.
	Vaughn Logan Hunter	First meeting Logan as the guy who sits in the corner of dark rooms on his own and freaks the fuck out of people when they don't expect it, Hobbs' view of Logan has begrudgingly improved, if only because he bears the title of 'Commander'. She still thinks his judgement is piss poor and wouldn't follow him into battle, especially if her life depended on it, but she has his back and considers him her leader, for now.
	Danticus Stark Hunter	Hobbs respects the Lieutenant more than she does the Commander, at first because he held the base together while the last Commander buggered off somewhere. Having saved his life on two occasions now, and since the incident at Finley's, she's close with him due to similar past experiences. He is the first she told about her personal history and how she lost her leg. They are now hunting partners and Hobbs would even call him her best friend. However, sexual tension started to build on a hunt when, bruised and bleeding, they went back to a motel to patch themselves up and they ended up sharing a bed. Stark quickly left however. When Stark later vanished for three months without a word of goodbye, Hobbs initially worried that he'd been killed, but that turned to anger when he turned up again and kissed her. After witnessing Logan murder him, Hobbs has suppressed her grief, cleared away his things, and carried on with life, vowing never to take a partner again.
	Jacob "North" Cassidy Hunter	Cassidy, a.k.a. that baby-faced kid who kissed Logan's arse in the meeting. Hobbs knows nothing about him and isn't in a hurry to find out. Hobbs does meet him later at the docks, but still doesn't think much of him.
	Andriana Hattie Vernon Werewolf	Hobbs met the young Werewolf one night in the city near the full moon. Hobbs was distrusting instantly, and after the girl showed signs of anxiety and aggression, Hobbs attacked in order to bring her in. At that point, she transformed.
	David Cortes Hunter	Hobbs first met Cortes at the hospital after a checkup. His eagerness to adress his superiors properly, and the manner in which he called Hobbs ma'am indicates his military training and the freshness of his recruitment to the Hunter ranks. Hobbs thinks that he'll need to toughen up to survive as a Hunter, and insubordination may turn out to be a good thing when the commanding officer is Logan. When Stark left, Hobbs and Cortes became hunting partners, she told him about her military past, and they shared a near-kiss after one hunting session.
