There are certain things a person should do. Other things, a person shouldn't to. Conspicuously kill is one of those this a person shouldn't do - especially if that person were a vampire. Sometimes, though, things cannot be helped.
There was a recent death at St Jude's; one that Shiva would have partially drained the blood from for her own meal, but someone had already beat her to that. They left the marks to prove it. Great. A hunter only needs to see this to know there's a vampire nearby. And possibly suspect me. How stupid could one get.
When Shiva was among the general population, she sometimes cared blood in a thermos- in a effort to conceal the color, the smell, and the temperature. At this moment, Shiva, dressed in maroon scrubs, was sitting in the furthest, most obscure corner of the St. Jude's cafeteria, drinking her food. She liked to watch families. You can tell whether a person's blood is good or not by what they eat.
From across the room, she, of course, can hear names. With this bit of information she can find out who they're visiting. She, though, only did this when she thought the blood would be good.
Today was kind of quite, slow.
