Yeah, I see what you mean. They may become a bit distracting over time, but I think they look sooo nice. And for the Pokemon comment.. there's cooler templates out there too. Besides, it not like everyone would HAVE to use one.. (Boy I should really get roleplaying btw.. where's a good place to start? )

Yeah, I like that one a lot better.
Do you have a link where I can look at some templates? I've kind of wanted to try using one, but a lot of them are just so... eh. Lol
And a good place to start?
Um... Since she's a hunter, I would recommend the Compound or maybe she's out hunting.

Fancy posts with special formatting and picture layouts are intimidating to new members...and something I've noticed on quite a few sites is that the people who focus on prettying up their posts generally don't post much/well. They get too immersed in making things look nice.
(That sounded mean...but it's just an opinion. )
As well, when you're reading through a whole thread, pictures and layout might interfere with readability and the flow of the story.
